GCTUAE AI Employee · by Noman Akhter
Terms of Use
1. Who we are
"GCTUAE AI Employee" (the "Service") is a browser extension and server made by Noman Akhter ("we", "us"). It is provided to you by your organization or team admin (the "Admin"), who creates your account and pays for its use. These Terms apply between you and us, and alongside any rules your Admin or employer sets.
2. What the Service does
The Service is an AI assistant in your browser. It can read web pages you open and, with your approval where required, click, type, upload files you attach, and submit forms on your behalf. It uses AI models provided by third parties (currently Claude by Anthropic). The Service is not made, endorsed or sponsored by Anthropic, WhatsApp, Meta, Etsy, Daraz or any other third-party platform.
3. Your account
- Your account is personal. Do not share your username or password, and do not let others use your session.
- Each account works in one browser only. To change browsers, ask your Admin.
- Tell your Admin at once if you think someone else has used your account.
- Your Admin can set daily usage limits, reset, disable or delete your account at any time.
4. Acceptable use
You must use the Service lawfully and only for your work. You must not use it to:
- send spam, bulk, automated or unsolicited messages, or contact people who have not agreed to hear from you;
- deceive, defraud, harass, threaten or impersonate anyone, or post fake reviews, listings or content;
- sell or list items that are illegal, counterfeit, infringe someone else's rights, or break a marketplace's rules;
- collect or misuse other people's personal data without a lawful reason;
- break the terms of the websites you use it on (for example WhatsApp, Etsy or Daraz terms and automation rules);
- get around security measures, CAPTCHAs or access controls, or attack any system;
- break the Anthropic Usage Policy, which applies to all AI output in the Service;
- break any law of Pakistan or of the country you are in, including the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016.
5. Your responsibility for actions and content
- You control what is sent. Before the Service sends, posts, publishes, submits, buys or deletes anything, it asks for your approval (unless your settings say otherwise). You are responsible for every action you approve, and for any action you allow without approval.
- You are responsible for the content you ask it to create, post or send, and for having the right to use any files you upload.
- Third-party platforms may limit, suspend or ban your accounts if they consider your activity automated or abusive. We are not responsible for such actions.
5A. Prepaid balance (wallet accounts)
If your account uses a prepaid balance ("wallet"):
- You buy credit in Pakistani Rupees ("top-up") before using the Service. The amount is added to your balance once payment is received.
- Each request is charged to your balance as it happens. The charge depends on the AI processing used, at the rates set by us, which include our service fee. The Service shows the amount charged and your remaining balance.
- When your balance reaches zero, the Service stops until you top up. A request that is already running may take your balance slightly below zero, and that amount is deducted from your next top-up.
- Rates may change. Changes apply only to use after they take effect, and we will tell you about them in advance where reasonably possible.
- Balance is personal and can't be transferred or exchanged for cash. Used balance is not refundable. We may refund unused balance at our discretion or where the law requires it. If we end your access for a reason other than a breach of these Terms, we will refund your unused balance.
- Balance may be forfeited if your account is closed for breaking these Terms, as far as the law allows.
- If you think a charge is wrong, tell us within 30 days and we will review it.
6. AI output may be wrong
AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or inappropriate, and the Service can make mistakes when it operates web pages. Check all output and actions before you rely on them. The Service is not a source of legal, financial, medical or other professional advice.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what data the Service handles and where it goes.
8. Suspension and termination
We or your Admin may suspend or end your access at any time, including when these Terms are broken, when misuse is suspected, or when your organization stops using the Service.
9. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose, or that it will work on every website.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data, or account suspensions by third-party platforms arising from your use of the Service. In any case our total liability to you is limited to the amount paid for your use of the Service in the month before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Indemnity
If you break these Terms or the law while using the Service, you agree to cover the losses and reasonable costs that we or your Admin suffer as a result, to the extent the law allows.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. When we do, we will change the version date above, and you will be asked to accept the new version before you can continue using the Service.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Pakistan.
14. Contact
For questions about your account, contact your Admin. For questions about these Terms, contact Noman Akhter through nomanakhter.com.
